My counselling is based on evidence based methods and newest research. Although there are not always clear answers to everything, today we do understand how perception, thinking, emotions, feelings and behaviour emerge and how they can be influenced. Prerequiste for any sustainable change is to understand how mind sets are being formed. There are general functions but everyone of us has been shaped quite individually by education, society, culture and personal experiences. Together we will explore your patterns and automatisms, look into those which bother you at present and find ways how stable changes can be achieved.
Discipline and practice
Stay consequent and practice regularly, particularly when you feel less motivated. Keep in mind; it takes about 90 days to establish new automatisms and mind sets.

Recognize that only you can change and that change is a process you must actively shape.

Are the costs covered by health insurance?
The costs for psychological counselling, whether online or on-site, are not covered by the health insurance in Germany. Some private insurance companies however may offer reimbursements – please check this with your insurance provider in advance.
You can always try to deduct the costs from your taxes.
How long does a counselling session last?
Counselling sessions usually last between 30 and 90 minutes.
Of course, individual arrangements are possible.
How can I book a session?
You can easily book sessions online or via contact form. Let me know, what days and times suit you best and I will come back to you within 24 hours to confirm a prompt appointment.
How quickly can I get an appointment?
I always try to provide prompt appointments for urgent requests, usually within 2-8 days, depending on your availability.
How does counselling with Antje work?
Once you have decided how you would like to be counselled, i.e. whether on site, online, with video, audio only or text chat, I will confirm your appointment and send a payment link. Then we will start off with our introductory meeting. This is to find out whether I am the right person to talk to about your problems and whether your topic is suitable for the chosen setting. Of course, you then have to decide whether you are interested in continuing to work with me afterwards. If you have a specific question that can be answered in one counselling session, this is of course also possible.
